TRIPTI CRAFTS, a handloom textile brand dedicated to preserving and reimagining traditional Indian crafts, officially launched on April 19, 2026. Built on the foundation of memory, lineage, and artisanal knowledge, the brand brings together heritage weaving and contemporary design sensibilities.
Founded in memory of Tripti Bagchi, the brand is a tribute to a mother’s legacy, celebrating the emotional bond between a mother and daughter. This sentiment forms the heart of Tripti Crafts, where every creation carries a sense of memory and belonging.
The launch event onstaged by brand ambassador Ms. Tamori, with the Tripti Crafts Kolkata space designed by renowned interior designer Nayana Bhattacharyya and the exterior artwork created by artist Shreya. Special Guest Koneenica Banerjee were present at the event, along with distinguished guests Rajib Kumar Paul (Bhuter Raja Dilo Bor), fashion designer Rai Kishori, budding singer Ratnendra Narayan Bhaduri, and Rupparna Bhattacharyya of Calcutta King and Queen.
Tripti Crafts presents a curated collection of handcrafted sarees, including Jamdani weaves, Kantha embroidery, Madhubani hand-painting, and Banarasi textiles. Created in collaboration with artisans across India, each piece reflects generations of craftsmanship and storytelling.
“A saree is not just something we wear-it is something we inherit, remember, and pass on,” said founder Rituparna Bhattacharyya. “Through Tripti Crafts, I wanted to honor both a personal legacy and the artisans behind these timeless creations.”
Committed to ethical sourcing and sustaining artisan livelihoods, Tripti Crafts works closely with craft communities to keep traditional practices relevant in a modern context.
The launch collection will be available at tripticrafts.in, with future collections continuing to explore the intersection of heritage and design.
